Report a translation problem
We did have both of ours default the controller layout to the steam deck, but you can go to controller settings (can be found when on the steam overlay at the bottom, or you can rightclick the game in your library and go to "properties") and swap your layout for the WASD and mouse template if you want it to default to mouse and keyboard for a docked deck (how i prefer it personally).
Only other issue I can mention is that for some reason the game (and only this game so far) is like, unreasonably dark for me but not for my husband despite us both running a steam deck, and so far I have only had mild (but workable) success in compensating for that with in and out of game settings adjustments.
