Thanks for confirming.
That would be nice if it was added in. Also, the argument we would have is.. trees grow naturally, and to assume that you won't have plants grow back where some were picked or trees grow back where some were chopped is a slight against realism. Maybe a sapling becomes a tree after 2 winters or something.. saplings pop up randomly in various spots in the spring. Let it grow or take it out with the katana.
just like the first game when it launched into EA, the option isn't there. it'll get added lol
Is that along the lines of the 5 days of winter realism? lol No, but i get your point :)
I think the only reason that the trees are not growing back right now is, the devs didn't quite figure out yet how to prevent trees growing back through your base. Imagine, one day you wake up and there is a freakin' tree in your living room. LOL.
I might be completely wrong here, but at least in my mind, that is the only reasonable explanation. (I want them grow back as well, BTW)
Cheers!
It's not that I need that many trees for building or whatsoever. It is more like the visuals.
I've build once a pretty large base, which required a lot of trees to be cut in the vicinity of that said base. and once I was done, I went inside, up to the balcony and looked at a lot of tree stumps. LOL. (Of course I could've been selective and cut trees from further away, but I didn't. Then I had built my dream house in a nice forested area, which wasn't that much of a forest anymore :D)
So, at least for me, its more for the visuals, not for building. ;)
