Sons Of The Forest is more demanding but also much better looking (it's using more modern graphic features, is much more detailed etc etc).
If you got a somewhat decent PC, you shouldn't run into any performance issues.
You stated it's a bad game due to optimization. What else is anyone supposed to think you are talking about?
Well, when I read the posts you made: they are between 3 letters long up to an average of 7 or 8 words.
It is borderline provocative, or just trolling. It is not worth the watts consumed by the servers hosting all this.
I had my fun with this game but I put so many hours into my one save I probably will never play it again. Plus the devs are gone from it.
Because I never had the issue you mentioned (memory leak/fps drop after few minutes of playing).

Had to download an updated dlss file and replace the one that sotf has to get it to stay stable, only done a little more testing but we'll see if it continues
