Stoking the fire

With the new patch, how do we stoke a fire with new firewood? The fires seem to be burning out super fast now and I cant seem to figure out how to add new firewod

Until the devs fix this issue, you may want to just use a drying rack. Works great and saves on firewood too.

you split a log long ways, then split it into smaller pieces. grab some pieces and go up to a reinforced fire, should give you the option to place the firewood pieces with left click.

I admit the fires were a little OP in the beginning.
But now they are nerfed into ridiculousness.
Restarting the fire every 5 minutes, even when you have logs on the fire, is just stupid.

ok so first you cut the log down the middle then chop the two planks into smaller planks then put them in the fire

and no their are not "bugged" just nerfed a little bit though if you add stones and firewood they still last a while

My bad for not being clear. I know how to add the initial logs. Thereafter when they burn out, how do I add new logs> In anycase, pointed out similar threads.

I've had this issue too, saving, ending and then reloading the game seems to reset what ever internal timer the firewood has and should last you again.
