More than one Virginia?

I was under the impression that Virginia just sticks around your camp. If this is true, then there are more Virginias in the game.

I was out exploring. I had Kelvin with me. Quite a ways from my base, I saw someone that looked like Virginia but this NPC had bloody or bruised legs. She had something blue in her hands and placed it on the ground. Then she ran off. I couldnt find what she placed on the ground. Anyway, when I got back to my base, Virginia was there with no bloody or bruised legs.

She washes the blood off of herself. It does seem like the gifts she puts on the ground sometimes clip through the terrain.

She does roam around, and i've noticed she washes dirt/blood off herself. You can also find a gps tracker that you can put on her to see where she is at any given time

Virginia doesn't have to actually cross the terrain like Kelvin, she teleports close to the player when whatever triggers a visit from her occurs. People have posted about giving her a GPS tag and then seeing her appear miles away to visit a different person in MP, etc.
