where is katana

Haven't found a Katana yet in 6/7 hours of experience so far throughout the whole world. The only thing we find is a Machete which is actually a Kukri. Can be found close at the beach of the spawn location going to the left.

The only thing ive found is the modern axe. Looking at the screenshot on the store there are several items ive not found. Looks like theres various guns, taser, melee weapons, something that uses ink i think a 3d printer, zipline gun, rebreather. Ive checked probably 8 plus caves, and like 4 of those green little dot areas. Ive found nothing.

found the katana. its in a cave near the ocean at the southern part of the map. need the keycard to get it.
its a pretty long road to get it. but its a bit OP. very fun. one of my favorite weapons now.

Update, if you really want to find this Katana. Check the guide section, top-rated guide. There is the location and other information. I suggest to not spoiling yourself too much since it's close to the ending part of the game.
