Ghost of Tomorrow is a horror walking sim taking place mostly in an apartment. The story revolves around Amanda who you control. There are some weird, paranormal activities going on in her place after which you notice a significant amount of time has passed. I do not want to spoil the story but let's just say referring to the game as a time-travelling experience is very much spot-on.

The game also looks very nice, very detailed. I particularly liked when we interacted with our smartphone to check the personal messages coming via Messenger. Since this is labelled as chapter 1 the story remains unfinished after 30 minutes' of playtime. But it is still an enjoyable experience. Oh, and the big HDTV showing the match in the living room is one of the best (most realistic) displays I have seen in a video game. This is how you make people believe they are actually in a real apartment.

It's a shame the project was left unfinished as no further episodes have been released since. Ed Lioni has another title but that is still labelled as "coming soon" on Steam. Both Kickstarter projects, I assume. Still, if you have some spare time it's worth checking out. The only issue I had with the game was that after the credits rolled clicking on "quit" only took me to a site where you can donate some money. It doesn't close the application, though.

- The spooky sound effects leading up to triggers were a nice touch and did not feel over-used. The ambience worked well, but some parts did not have a seamless loop.

- Only bug encountered was after the blue-lit hallway, when the soccer game was on the TV. A noticeable drop in frames was present until the end of this segment of the game.

- The game is only $2.99, so paying full price shouldn't be an issue. But, it seems like it is not fully fleshed out, so waiting for a sale wouldn't hurt.

To Sum Up.

Tall 8 foot Lassie slowly walks her way through her greatest fear.

That Fear is Doors apparently, as Tall Lassie needs the help of over Ghosts and strange supernatural elements to show her that doors aren't as scary as you think.

i will keep the review to the honest possible.
do i recommend this game? Yes, however the game didnt meet my exceptions for " Game "
its feel like interactive story, not much for the player to do outside of walking and trigger event.
there is also sentence on the trailer " or will you take control of your own destiny " implied that the story going to have decision choosing but there is not any of these features, like i said its just walking to trigger events happening in the game ( unless i missed something ).
i want to point out the game ended when is should have started, gives you taste for more, way more.

"price" is not high for the game but defaintly something people might consider that they didnt got paid for the value they expected. ( i think the price is fair for the experience and the fact what one person can achieve can give motivation for other peoples)

conclusion

The game itself is work of art more then game, Graphics are amazing while game play require some upgrade in the feature.
worth mention it cost 3$? so basically the price of box of gums and i believe the game is cheaper then that, worth the experience.

An extremely exciting story. I wonder how it will turn out. The game has a lot of potential.

An immensely interesting horror walking simulator. Some things were predictable but the tension was constant. I'd like to see an end to the game, since as of now (1/20/21) it abruptly ends.

Some Slight Sleights:
- the main menu switched between my two monitors on every other click
- subtitles somewhat ostentatious in size
- tension string loops too often during stress scenes, in comparison to the end credits version. To a point where it becomes more annoying than stressing

Things to Brag About:
+ Truly anxiety inducing set-ups, with a great skill in inspiring tension
+ An intriguing background story-- whats with those parallel worlds?! Lets explore this!

Pretty fun. My wife and I spent about 80 minutes playing. Short, but well done. Worth the 3 bucks for sure.

great game, along the lines of Infliction. Seeing how this was released in 2020, i have little hope for a chanter 2.
