How to Soul match?
Hi!!

I understand how to Soul match armors: color with color to improve (at a great money cost). But I don't understand weapon soul matching... I know you can only add the second weapon trait tonthe first one and the first one inherits the traits, but the weapons are weaker... I have been getting familiarity with a lot of purple weapons with good traits and when I try Soul match the result is weaker.

Thank you so much!

Find a weapon with a trait you want to soul match. For example, Attack Bonus (Courage) A. It must have white arrow across that trait to transfer it. Orange arrow will transfer it too, but makes it temperable. White inheritables can't be tempered over.
Max out Familiarity level of that weapon. Then go to soul matching and soul match with another weapon. Weapon you want to put that trait on must not have conflicting effects. So if you want to transfer Attack Bonus (Courage) A, then second weapon can't have similar trait or something like Melee Damage, Active Skill Damage, High Stance Quick Attack Damage, etc. Familiarity of new weapon will reset to 0, so it will get weaker and new effect will be transfered to it. This also raises weapon level. So once you max out familiarity on it, it will be stronger.

Might seem weaker because, IIRC, familiarity resets to zero after a soul match, so you have to build it up again.
