Yasakani Magatama

Been farming this thing for hours. 200 Luck farming the abduction mission for the last 10 hours with no results. Not sure if it works like Souls games but can anyone drop me one if they have an extra they dont care for? I know the last boss drops it but Id like to actually be able to play through NG+ with it. I dont know If I'll be interested in playing after way of the strong

Also make sure you activate the item, and don't pick it up if it is not the Yasakani. Go back to the shrine once and repeat the process. If it is not the Yasakani the second time, then exit back to the world map before trying again.

It's easier to just beat the final mission/boss since it's guaranteed to drop then. You also won't get access to NG+ until you beat the final mission/boss.

The guaranteed Yasakani Magatama drop is available from the NG+ (second playthrough) version of the final mission, not the NG (first playthrough) version.

You can't get a yasakani until you've beaten Dream of the Strong (NG+). Trying to farm for it before you've beaten Strong is a waste of time. It's a reward from the final mission on Strong. After that it'll get added to the random loot pool and you can find more.

It won't drop randomly until you get it from Eye of the Beholder on NG+.

True I got like 2 as random drops in Dream of the Strong before getting to the final boss

this character hasn't beaten dream of the strong yet and has gotten multiple yasakanis on dream of the samurai

The Yasakani Magatama is added to the loot pool after completing the Eye of the Beholder Mission (final main mission of base game) in Dream of the Samurai (NG/First Playthrough) by defeating the Final Boss of the base game.

Defeating the Final Boss is the trigger for Divine Rarity gear to appear in the loot pool. As the Boss drops a Divine weapon for each category, both Melee and Ranged (with each weapon from the 11 main/melee categories being guaranteed Corrupted variants) the first time they're defeated.

The Yasakani Magatama is a Divine Rarity Accessory, so finishing this mission will allow it to drop as part of the loot pool (it's pretty rare). Making it possible to acquire before completing the Eye of the Beholder in Dream of the Strong (NG+/Second Playthrough) where you get the guaranteed one.

Both Angel and Devious Goon have mentioned it dropping for them before defeating the Final Boss in Dream of the Strong, and I can also affirm this because I managed to get one as a drop while playing the second DLC in Dream of the Samurai (NG/First Playthrough) before starting Dream of the Strong (NG+/Second Playthrough).

Appreciate the correction. Good to know it's added to the pool after NG then. The drop rarity is so low though I still wouldn't farm it personally and Strong isn't hard enough to require it.

it's actually a pretty decent chance you'll get one just going through the DLCs, they have higher drop chance than base game

plus I mean what else are you gonna stick in your accessory slot? might as well get something that you can use forever
