Error code 30 failed to write to character 0 save file

I'm intermittently receiving an Error Code 30 when interacting with a kodama shrine or in the world map menu. Things seem to work ok otherwise. Any known bugs or tips? I didnt see this listed anywhere else.

Seems a permission problem of your filesystem. The game can not write to your savefile location. You may look if the group "authenticated users" have permissions to write there.

Standard save location @w10 is:
C:\USER\Documents\KoeiTecmo\NIOH2\Savedata

USER= your login name

I'm getting the same thing here. No issues saving progress though. Part of me wonders if another program is trying to do something with the file(Onedrive syncing maybe?).

It's a fault of syncronization of the folder with game saves by either OneDrive or Google Drive (or anything else you are using). Happens when you do stuff too fast for the folder to finish sync in tyme and so it's blocking writing. You shall either do things slower, exit and enter the Shrine to save it a bit later or just exclude Nioh2 folder in the Documents from synch for good.
