these are all top tier spirits
It is a phantom guardian spirit with 2 interesting applications:
- Protection: it grants you temporary hit points scaling with your onmyo (and empowers your elixir)
- Paralysis resistance (very useful on high difficulties, imo).
Other than switching to her every time I needed to pop an elixir (or a spectral salve), I used Amabie as a defensive platform. The “best” soul cores here are probably:
- Ongyoki (sometimes you need a breather).
- Bakegani (shotgun like ability to cause wet from reasonable distance, plus improved defenses)
It changed quite a lot my approach to post end game content, that's for sure.
