Will there be a preload?
when can we download the game? will there be a pre-load before 5 feb?

Good question. I hope so. Kind of defeats the purpose of preordering if we can`t play it the day it releases. I also wonder about what time the game will be releasing on the 5th. If it releases late at night then I will have to wait until the next day to play it.

who knows, maybe 2 days before release we start seeing an "Install" prompt.

I hope it will, otherwise - I'm not even bothering with buying it ahead of port reviews (even with refund policy in place). I have relatively slow internet and getting a pre-load is the only reason I would buy it ahead of time, especially when it literally takes 3 seconds to buy a game and start a download.

How would I know this ahead of release? Heh? People will report on port quality as soon as they can play the game.

Every game i preordered in year 2020 turned out to be ♥♥♥♥, now lets just hope 2021 is different bcos i just preordered Nioh 2

The last time i pre-orderd a game was back on playstation 3, now i usually wait for some non-spoiler reviews

Sorry for the necro, just thought somebody might find it helpful. Kazuma Hashimoto over at Siliconera specifically reviewed the PC port portion of Nioh 2 without spoilers. He had pretty excellent consistent performance, but also had a capped framerate. He includes his specs at the bottom of the review, as well.

It sounds like he capped his framerate intentionally, because he was running on an GTX 1050 laptop.

The trailer on the store page advertises at length the uncapped framerate and even the UW support, so yea it must've been capped by the reviewer.

Well...I preordered the Game on GMG about 3 weeks ago, so that I get a 22% Discount XD
There is no Discount there anymore right now.

There is, it just requires a code. PAYYAY is 18% off, but it's not quite as good as previous deals. Hopefully we get our keys soon..
