Reforging: Is the total amount of stat scaling the same?
I think it was reforging... I kinda confuse it with tempering. The one where you can let weapons scale with stats differently.

I was curious, does the total amount of scaling change? Like if you go for max skill scaling, does the total amount of scaling become lower, or does it stay the same either way?

Do you mean the effect "Transform Bonus", which changes main stat from, for ex, Heart for katana to, again for ex, courage? If so, then it stays the same.

If it's Remodel, then it'll increase scaling from choosed stat(s) (from B+ to A for ex), but it'll reduce the scaling from another ones.

I think the best remodeling is that you max two stats to 200 and select those two stats (press Y [xbox controller] to select one stat, then press confirm on the other). For ex, my katana by default has B+ from the heart and C+ from the skill, if i choose both of these stats - they both scale the attack power to A-, which together gives more damage than scaling from only one stat. The scaling from strength will be reduced from D+ to D-, which is ok since i don't max strenght.

Yeah i meant the remodel. I am using that now, selecting two stats. But What I'm curious about is, if you have 200 in everything, would the damage output be the exact same no matter which remodeling mode you pick.

All.values were 150

I tried two stats a plus star roll attack bonus One of the same stat. Vs. Two stats remodeled a and star roll different stat not on weapon but 150

Damage difference was single digits

After 5hundred hours of playing just the more a stats the better bang for ur buck
Not a huge difference between a and aa..
But a big difference between b and a.

I got a near 1200 dmg difference earlier difficulties with obsidian and. Stam a and bonus stam a. Was axe faceroll axe build most of the game. Thats when i realized how much a difference A makes. Wotn its not that big a deal. U can get 6300 dmg with little effort one stat.

Ah thanks guys. I was wondering about that. So there isn't a reason to get all three stats. Well, not really.
