- Did you know that you can remodel accessories? They are listed in the clothes section.

- Did you know that corrupted weapons can be soul matched with soul cores? Get yourself some rare stats.
- Did you know that split staff has a built in 30% damage buff you can activate? Drain ki using dragon dance, then hit normal attack
- Did you know that switch glaive has a built in ki damage bonus? Hold middle mouse.
- Did you know that you can pay for ANY tempering level stat using divine unbracite?

nice list, I can say I knew all those, let me try one...did you know once you unlock clans and the hidden teahouse on one character you can then start with them already unlocked on all new characters?

Although this next set may be a downer. Some may be well documented or known by now, but for the newer folks coming in.

  • Did you know you can use an emote on the demon-eyed wall to peacefully get the wall to go away? You're in luck if there's a red grave nearby to see what behavior (emote color) DID NOT work.
  • Did you know in Expeditions, this same demon wall will have a different answer for each player? And the same corpse that shows what behavior got them slain will vary for each player as well.
  • Did you know that Mujina can fight each other? If you recruit a Mujina ally and then open a Mujina chest with the latter getting damaged in some way, these Mujinas will start fighting each other. It's a horrible thing to watch.
  • Did you know you can spot a trapped chest / Mujina chest if it has three stripes on each side instead of just two?
  • Did you know you can Whistle at a trapped chest / Mujina chest and the creature will come out to emote at you? This way you can avoid taking damage, emote at it, then as it is cheering, strike it down (you don't have to strike it down, but when I roleplay the protagonist, I want to ensure no other traveler gets hurt by these pranksters)
  • Did you know that Elemental Transmission does not extend the duration of the talisman / amulet / onibi even though the description says it will extend the duration?
  • Did you know (and I got chewed out for this one for not whispering this to the intended recipient) that Yatagarasu's Imbue Fire (Ranged Attack) prevents Stun Arrow, Poison Arrow, and the purify effect from the sacred arrows ammo?
  • Did you know that Izanami's Living Dead invincibility lasts less than 3 seconds and that you can die again from attacks before you get your life recovered?
  • Did you know that one Daimyou can't recognize his own child even though they are identical in appearance unless he sees an engraved dagger?
  • Did you know that the guardian spirit's skill damage increases from Attack on your 5 armor slots, but not your soul cores? Unfortunately, the difference of 40 inherited Attack is only 88 damage on the Tengen Kujaku guardian skill.
  • Did you know that Benkei's revenant appears in Nioh 1 in the Battle of Ohashi Bridge mission, but appears to have been before Nioh 2's lore and model were established?
  • Did you know that if you have Ninjutsu's Stun Arrow with Piercing Projectiles on your bow, you can easily paralyze the Gyuki boss?
  • Did you know you can switch your primary and secondary guardian spirits around without using a shrine? (by default, R1, then L2 on a Playstation gamepad) You can access up to 4~6 yokai skills depending on where you're at in the game and up to two different burst counters.
  • Did you know that the Maeda clan's Reduced Defense (Grapple) bonus does NOT work if you paralyze the enemy and use the Fatal Thrust grapple? Note, the Maeda clan bonus functions with Izuna Drop, Dragon Fang, Merciless Barrage, or regular grapples when paralyzed. And Fatal Thrust gains the clan bonus if the enemy is not paralyzed. There are some other grapple type moves that do not function such as the Axe's Rampage or Cloud Crush grapple do not receive Maeda clan bonus whether paralyzed or not.

Wow, this was a great list, and your Nurikabe tip reminded me of this one;

- Did you know that if you emote wrong at a Nurikabe, you can quickly try another emote and it will be accepted if correct?

How many times have I died when I could have been trying to save myself using my insanely skillful abilities in Charades! I honestly didn't know that.. great one, much thanks!

Did you know that - For Beginners, the best overall mission to farm gear and extremely helpful items for new and veteran folk alike, such as Sacred Water, the Sake's, and Clay Bell Kitties, etc. is in Dream Chapter - The Dream's End mission?

There are three floors for farming gear from Revanents once the Yokai are cleared. Each of the core items mentioned above exists within one mission. Great overall place to take a few Pits Stops and grind a bit to ready up for the remaining Chapters and DLC content.

Did you know - That one of the things worth the effort to increase completely in the Blacksmith when making a request of Toyo, is Additional Special Finds? Increase 3 Patronage Levels eventually for several slots of Weapons, Armor and Items.

As soon as you spend the first point, check back with the Blacksmith using the Buy and Special Finds Tab in between every mission, no matter how short. The rotation of Finds will include Sake's, Clay Kittiies and Projectiles that are harder to come by sometimes like the Sacred Arrows, Roaring Gun Ammmo and Explosive rounds.

Can purchase small amounts this way to supplement what you find naturally in the game or create by Trading Items in the Teahouse and then Forging via the Blacksmith.

{{As with all Merchants who value their time and efforts, buying out the Special Finds stock in between each mission, whether you want the items or not, is a quick way to both reset the stock if you're doing super speedy missions like solo Bosses, and gain the appreciation of the Merchant via Patronage Levels.}}

Ah nice, I've got like 4000+ elixirs, but always somehow dangerously low on gun ammo!

Did you know - The fastest Twilight Mission to speed run if you're only collecting Umbracite, Fabled Umbracite and Divine Umbracite to Temper your Gear?

The Blood Tainted Samurai - ****Long Explaination = Quick Umbracite Haul****

Imagine following the path on the RIGHT as much as possible up the entire map to the top of the building where the Boss fight awaits. Walk right in and dispatch of the final fight. The end.

Hmmmm. This reminds me of explaining how to escape from a Labyrinth should you find yourself trapped by a Minotaur in real life. ;) To be serious for a brief moment, should you find yourself in a hedge maze or labyrinth of a Psycho Serial Killer, there is a way that some of my OG brethren and I will recall from almost every RPG that existed for the first quarter of a century {{Or perhaps from reading a book}}:

* Reach out with your right or left hand, as you're most comfy, and touch the wall.

* Start walking and never remove your hand from the wall.

* As long as you keep walking continuously, without removing your hand, you will
eventually find your way to the entrance/egress. You can only be truly lost if you
start to take right or left turns.

Same concept with this speed run. Start the only direction possible and continue up the map on the RIGHT side to the top of the building and kill stuff. Temper away!

  • Did you know that holding forward while using Hatchets light attacks will reduce the ki cost of the first attack of mid/low stance, but increase the ki cost of the first attack of high stance? So you want to move while in mid/low and not move while in high.

  • For Hatchets again, did you know that the midstance throw does 33% more ki damage, faster, than the highstance throw (which is probably 50%+ more ki damage per second)? If you thought the midstance throw was pointless because it was less damage, there you go.

  • Did you know that the axe has a sweetspot for extra damage where you want to hit the enemy far enough rather than too close?

  • Did you know that extending the vast majority of Splitstaff attacks is LESS damage (per second) AND ki damage (per hit), despite the higher ki cost? Unless you know which skills are actually a gain, it's generally better to only extend if you TRULY need the range or the extra hits.

  • Did you know that the Mystic Art "Stability" for spear, which increases damage and range of thrust attacks by 20%, also increases the ki damage by 20%?

  • Did you know that the poop trap in the ninjutsu tree, if you're able to keep the enemy long enough in it, does about as much ki damage as a high stance strong Axe attack (in other words, a massive amount)? The Tesso soul core also functions in a similar manner.

  • Did you know that most yokais that appear from the fog (20%) or dark realms (10% for the mobs, 40-50% for the spawner) have significantly more hp than normal?

  • Did you know that Yatsu-no-Kami has a well-hidden backside where you can do constant +50% damage on if you hug him and circlestrafe to the left enough?

  • Did you know that Gyuki, compared to many other yokai bosses, has actually little hp despite his size? Relatively to his own mission, it's similar to Enenra, and it is less than Magara Naotaka and Yatsu-no-Kami. If you thought to approach this boss like a gimmick boss, you don't have to.

  • Did you know that, unlike human bosses, almost all yokai bosses have easily abusable weakpoints with Hamaya Arrows? Look out for the glowy yellow parts or the red eyeballs. It is free ki damage AND purity application, which is even more ki damage. Using that to your advantage can annihilate dark realm phases easily.

  • Did you know that many walls or props designed to be removed in the game by cannons or fire arrows, can be destroyed by certain yokai abilities, or Imagawa's elephant guardian spirit ability?

  • Did you know that, while using a yokai ability inside the normal realm, your ki regeneration will slow down, but while using it inside a dark realm, your ki regeneration will go faster?

  • Did you know that the Yokai Ability Ki Pulse effect on soul cores (which you only need 1 of for it to work for all your cores) can allow you to obtain the benefit of both perfectly ki pulsing a yokai realm AND cleansing a yokai realm with a yokai ability (both of which are inside the Shiftling skill tree), refunding 2.4 Anima or 3.6 Anima inside a dark realm?

Imagine this while using the Aberrant Soldier yokai ability, which only costs 3 Anima to use :
-You get all your ki back from an attack
-You regenerate more ki while using the yokai ability
-You trigger the extra ki regeneration effect if the perfect purification was inside a Dark Realm
-You refund 80% of the cost of the Aberrant Soldier yokai ability, or the entirety of it (and more) inside the dark realm
-You still get to do damage and ki damage from range with the yokai ability
All of which are perfect setups to continue playing aggressively.

We'll see how irrelevant it is when you're stuck in a Maze of Death on Halloween. ;)

Love your Bio Statement BTW. Amen.

Found something I'd posted elsewhere here while looking for something else.

Did you know - Super Fast way to Farm for Clay Bell Kitties and Accessories?

In Awakening -> The Greedy Hunter Mission. As soon as you enter, turn around swing right as you walk back down the hill to the cliff area. In that small area you will find a total of four humanoids guarding a Box 'O Stuff, which always includes an Accessory and a Couple-O'{choco} Cups. One of the guards is distracted by a shiny Clay Bell Kitty.

Rinse with a Divine Branch and Repeat as Needed.
