Divine sets farming
I just finished main game and want to collect good medium set(I got stamina 40, so heavy sets will be too much i suppose). Any suggestions what set to farm? And WHERE to farm it?

veteran and lone wolf are the best medium armor, you should already be able to craft them

if you mean armor with set bonuses just pick any you like, I like onmyo warrior

Crafting is the only way? Where can I farm pieces?

I wouldn't bother looking for a place to farm those right now if you're only in dream of the strong

Idk if it's worth it to farm in ng+ at all. +values on weapon and armor has so much impact, that most other stuff pales in comparison. If you decide to get a set, get one with versatility. This should be plenty until dream of the nioh

And where you usually farm sets? Just killing everything you meet and opening all the chest?Or you do it on a specific missions and bosses?

Generally, you don't really NEED to farm until DotW. That's the point at which you can't really get away with no build any longer. That's also, iirc, when ethereals start dropping, which blow divines out of the water. It's almost like the devs planned that. Anyway, if you aren't even on dream of the demon yet then you will also be missing access to divine graces for armors without specific set bonuses.
The only real purpose for farming a divine set, is if you want to put drop chances and luck+ on it to use it to farm the ethereal version of the set later with lucky drop. Because even the stuff with set bonuses instead of graces gets a better version of the set bonus at ethereal.

Just pick what looks good at the time and soul match it for up until Ethereals are available, as divines get outmoded by them pretty hard.

As for farming specific sets: It depends on the set. Best strat is usually to pick up whatever version of it you can, and abuse lucky drop to farm an easy mission with lots of loot relative to time investment to farm up a serviceable ethereal version of the set, then just keep that up to date while you wait for the heat death of the universe for Fortuna to glance your way and drop a 'perfect' set for your given build. Assuming you want to specifically farm at all in the first place, as opposed to just passive farming by slapping lucky drop on accessory and just grinding through underworld and depths just picking up improvement as you go. A set at ethereal quality, even with no star stats, if tempered properly, will be more than sufficient to hold you over while you wait for a perfect drop.
Scroll Farming is where you are going to want to die as they can be quite difficult to farm up new scrolls, let alone also getting one with beneficial lock-ins.

Yeah, if you aren't enjoying the actual gameplay and combat systems, then grinding sin't going to be fun.

EDIT: Good all-around placeholder sets with a built in bonus would be something like Kingo's set, Nagamasa's set, golden gourd, tactician's, etc Stuff with generally useful bonuses that don't have super specific activation requirements.

First you need lucky drop on accessories. If I remember correctly, these can be tempered on green accessories. Let's say you want a certain armor set, then you need to use lucky drop armor. I think chances for drops are increased if both accessories have the same lucky drop attribute. Then it's just killing stuff and opening chests. But this goes for the "parts" only. If you want to farm a certain (ethereal) grace, then the only efficient way to do so are scrolls of the damned with enhanced grace drops. Afaik green graces can't be farmed efficiently, only ethereal ones. In general graces can be inherited with a inheritance attribute. This way you can get your favourite armor "parts" with the starred stats you want and let them inherit a grace you want.

Tldr: farming and grinding for ethereal graces does make sense in dream of the nioh/depths of the underworld only. Farming green graces isn't worth it at all (just use what you find on the way to dream of the nioh). Farming for character sets (for example hanzo/iga set etc) can be done with lucky drop.

you don't get to temper lucky drop until you unlock it in dream of the wise too

Ty, totally missed that.

@OP:
Build acquisition in dream of the nioh is like: get smithing text, craft that armor, wear that armor and temper lucky drop on accessories, farm drops of that armor (with starred effects and high +values). If you want certain graces on that armor: get grace inheritance from scrolls of the damned (or otherwise), inherit graces on lucky dropped armor.

Or, you know, just farm the correct underworld and depths floors for yyour particular graces.
