Hidden Teahouse freezing

As some other threads have mentioned, my game freezes every time I try to visit the Hidden Teahouse - the camera pans to the kettle, the map shows, and then the game just sits in that position, music playing but no inputs registering, no messages or response from the game in any way.

I'm running the game on a 3090 and 5900x, with no other internet or performance issues so far. I have tried reducing all of my settings to minimum as some people have tried, but even after maybe 20 tries, my game still freezes in exactly the same way.

For those still suffering from this issue after trying the other methods, I was able to get it working quite easily:

Restart steam in Offline mode, then start the game. You can still access the Teahouse, but it doesn't get stuck when trying to connect. The NPC will finish his dialogue, and you can choose your clan. Then, leave the Teahouse, and save the game. Restart back in Online mode, and the Teahouse should work with no problem.
