Suzuka's armor smithing text?

So Ive been farming Tate for like 4 days straight now for the smithing text for this armor and have yet to get it. Ive gotten every single other smithing text from her BUT the armor. So im starting to wonder, does it even drop in new game, or is this a new game+ thing? I tried looking it up and only saw ONE source that said you had to do it in "dream of nioh" and I dont even know what the hell that is.

Just go to higher NG, it drop easier. DoTN is NG+4, the highest difficulty/NG+. First playthrough is DoTSamurai then NG+ is DoTStrong -> DoTDemon -> DoTWise -> DoTN.

It definitely does drop in NG. I received the drop in NG.

yea u can get it in new game. when i farmed kato for his ninja set it took me forever to get it. others droped in 2 runs... rng baby

Well DotN does makes it easier somewhat but i got my set from Tate Eboshi

It drops from NG, RNG just hates you that's all. Try increase the items drop chance is all you can do.
