Elemental weakness?

Did it changed from Nioh 1? I remember that fire was weak against earth and strong against water, but i'm not finding the earth element for the life of me

elemental weakness are specific per enemy, there is no simple chart to follow, if you see a fire man it's probably weak to water so use your best judgement or just look at your yokai encyclopedia

Just use water/purity/lightning for easy nerfing of enemies defenses/movement and confusion. Some of the more tanky enemies are near if not impossible to burn but very little is so resistant to the other ailments
