Repetitive environment

I am playing this game for the first time and now in the 2nd Region. I've gone through all side missions in 1st Region and few in 2nd Region.
What I've noticed is these missions just reuse few environments again and again. Even the map, for the 2nd Region it is still in the same location of the map.
It makes me feel boring because of the similarity.

What do you guys think about it?

I will try to finish the game (with tons of deaths of course) then move on. The fighting mechanism is very complex and seems good, but that's it.
Don't quite understand ppl who spends 1000+ hours trying to perfect their skills :D

People spend hundreds or thousands of hours on their favourite games and have a great time, because they don't care about complainers who whinge about nothing nor whatever others think about the game.

The side missions reuse locations, not layouts.
Same places, different enemies, different obstacles.

They also get changed up every NG+ cycle.

Wait until they start recycling bosses in side missions. You're gonna absolutely love fighting the same old ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ twice.

Let's have look at DMC.
In DMC series there are also many stages that are reused and there are even less enemy types. You really just fight same enemies again and again. But still many people love to play it. Why? Because fighting enemies itself is fun.
In Nioh, if you want to enjoy the game, you may need to enjoy fighting enemies (and building your character as well)

I disagree with all your statements.
Although in this game the env is kind of repetitive, there are so many good things. I am still happy playing it now.
And Japanese game industry produced many top-tier games. I really enjoy many of them.

I feel like coming here and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on this game just to make them squeel. It would be fun. I use to love this game until Nioh 3 Experts show their ugly side on other games platform. Now I love to ♥♥♥♥ them up with a passion.

plain and simple:
Its one of the best games out there. It looks very good and its a mix of Diablo + Souls like games.
it offers a great combat system, many weapons with a variety of movesets and builds, great online (helping people is fun and a reason to perfect your own skill) and co-op expirience. Every NG+ unlocks new stuff and mobs & bosses have additional moves or another movesets and some mobs have randomized buffs and can be very hard to beat.
Playing the Underworld is fun, but I wasn´t motivated enough to push it to the depth of the underworld and these randomized 20 or 25 floors. To top this, every Yokai you encounter is from the Japenes mythology and not some random nor low effort monsters.

Some maps looks similar or are simply reversed, but I never had any trouble with it and I don´t think its boring because of this.

i spent 10 hours yesterday gearing up, crafting and getting factors on my weapons so i could beat etheral queen in star ocean divine force. why did i do that and why did i beat her like 9 times?

simple, combat is fun!

yeah TN isn't great with level variety it's better then nioh but that isn't saying much since 2 levels of base game nioh 2 actually stuck out to me. which was the upside down temple and the last level with floating islands.

the issue op is having is that hes doing all side missions. side missions have new layouts in used main mission locations. so ofc things will get repetitive. side missions are for grinding out later game tbh. you can totally skip most side content and just focus main missions on ur first run and it will help reduce any repetitive environments.
but lets not be mistaken, this game is much like any classic arpg, if you get into it late game, you will be farming the same kinda stuff over and over again.
