Tea House trading

Is Hidden Tea House trading broken? I just discovered it and I got practically infinite tonfas out of it, one of them even purple 79(+1), and I thought I wasn't supposed to get (+) weapons until NG+. I then tempered the tonfa at the blacksmith using inferior tonfas as fuel, and got a pretty OP weapon for this stage of the game.

That's how the Teahouse is, the randomness of it can often work in your favor if you're willing to gamble the glory on it. Keep in mind if you have done all the Blacksmith quests you can even start crafting +1's as well, its rather rare but it does happen.

Purple gear can +1 sometimes, even in the base difficulty. That's basically +10 item levels, on top of purple gear already being +10 item levels (+20).

Ya, early game the Tea house is pretty dope. It's kind of balanced out by the fact that glory isn't infinite, and you kind of have to wait on a week by week basis for your surge of glory points. Plus, if you want to play as your precious waifus, then there's plenty of things to sink your glory into. Huehuehue.

I had so much glory, I just went to town at creating tonfas, I probably made like 50 of them and still got plenty left

So I found that soul fusion of (+1) weapons gives a (+2) weapon. And souls fusion of (+2) weapons gives (+3) weapon. Since I get (+1) weapons for cheap, I guess there's no limit.

Although maybe it makes more sense to wait for NG+ and green weapons.

If you intend to play beyond NG all the way till last difficulty, better to save while you can. some special gear effects can only be gotten via forging.
