Nah I just spam odachi hits against them or using a headshot<grapple and thats it. We don't need to counter everything.
Yeah thats something I can't comment. Dunno the console version. Just saying that I also have trouble countering some yokai. I'm not sure if it's a bug because when you back of and wait for it.. it works. It just isnt worth it when you could just dodge.
keep in mind that 120FPS options is broken and the Feral Burst Counter only works when "countering" directly forward. Also the counter ONLY triggers when the enemy hits your AFTERIMAGE and not your actual character. You need to be closer than you think in most cases.
Forgot to mention but yeah I am playing in 120fps
I have zero trouble countering every other enemy. I'm certain that rokurokubi and a couple others are bugged (on 120fps at least).
The afterimage of the feral counter has to connect to the attack. That's how the counter works and the reason it is hard to hit. If you are just running into the enemy, then it normally doesn't work, if you after image the attack, it works every time.
It just does not work lol.
It's a minor inconvenience though. I don't even care if they fix it or not. Just really curious as to why it wasn't working
