BUG REPORT: UI drifting at 3440x1440

Note that I've refunded the game for its messy technical state, so don't judge, I'm trying to help.

When playing at 3840x1440, every time you die and reload a mission, or because of a few other reason, the UI slightly drifts, I had noticed this with my mod and I was curious whether it was caused by patching in support for 32:9 or if the base game was broken as well. Turns out widescreen support in the game is just broken.

Look at this side by side:

If you keep playing, it drifts way more and in the end it mirrors between the left and right side.
The game supports two widescreen resolutions: 2560x1080 and 3840x1440, though they have a slightly different aspect ratio. The devs did not realize this and hardcoded the aspect ratio from 2560x1080 into the game, assuming other widescreen resolutions had the same one, so now every time the UI is reloaded, it drifts by the difference in the two aspect ratios (which also should not happen anyway, so there are bugs stacking on each other here).

This game is fantastic. With DLSS, this is the best version of this game.

Please make true resolution support to make it even better!

Nice find. So for a sugestion: wouldn't it be possible to find the hex equivalent of the hardcoded aspect ratio and replace it with the correct value for the selected resolution to prevent the drifting?

I've tried for hours. Searched for every possible version of the numbers they had hardcoded, with no success. I've also tried with cheat engine, didn't spend as much time there but none of the addresses I found fixed the problem. I'm no expert but it's possible the target widescreen aspect ratio is hardcoded into the shaders.

YEEES! It's really same in my PC(3440*1440).
And sometimes some black translucent UI appeared from the side of the screen (It's just like the UI when I get an item)
so the screen flickers frequently...

Does the drifting also happen on a replaced 16:9 resolution like full HD? If you did not try that already, i will do that tomorrow. Could be worth a shot, if there is no calculated trigger value for the UI switch to 21:9 and if the game uses the two hard coded setting values for the ui scaling mode.

It doesn't matter what resolution you replace,I've tried that loads of times.
I managed to fix the UI drifting by changing some hex values, and it works great, but it breaks the navigation of the map and stops you from progressing into the game so I can't really publish it.
The hard coded base ~21:9 aspect ratio it uses is still to be found. All we know is that it's 2560x1080 or a number derived from that and 16:9.
