Axe build for DotW ?

Hey guys,
do you have some tips for an axe build ? In Wotd i used only spear ( Only Otakemaru is left) and wanted to switch to axe now. Wanted to keep my 6 P. Japans Bravest + 2 P Obsidian for rage duration and maybe, 2 P Saika (+ 2 P WotW ? Or should I just concrentate on getting myself the ethereal graces ? As my "main" axe i wanted to use shutens club.

would ditch japans bravest, doesnt do much for axe.

Thx for the answer :). So you would run the full obsidian set ethereal + take grace ? Sounds good, lightning is right up my alley :). I wanted to keep Bravest just for the 10 percent damage and const. A but your idea sounds nice too.
What are the skills you would recommend ? I planned on going full heaven and earth because its my favourite ?
And is the hidden axe skill worth farming for ?

BTW: Which GS were you using ? I mena atlas bear is great for axe or blue dragon is great for lightning ? :

My DotW axe experience is with obsidian + grace of Susano
Obsidian: 7 piece bonus, with 6 piece gear
Susano: 6 piece bonus, with 5 piece gear (yasakani with susano grace)
GS: Ho + Boar (can't remember the name - mid-attack damage reduction)
Core: Kasha, Namehage, Kyroki

You get your weapon's imbued element (ideally electricity) + purity (stacks fast with high stance axe attack) on the same weapon which leads to corruption - without having to switch weapons.

Once you get 3+ stacks of versatility, you hit an out of ki opponent for crazy amounts (15 - 20k depending on your other dmg stacks).

Hidden axe skill is only worth it if you like to stay counter in mid stance
No need to counter if the opponent doesn't have ki imo :p

2bh the hidden axe skill is total garbich. you can only use it against humans and you have better things to be doing, like breaking their ki in 2 hits.

How does any elemental based build works against certain bosses/enemies? Each enemy has their own weaknesses and resistances, you can cover everything by using consumables/magic/ninjutsu, if your build is weak against some enemies. It's obvious enough, your question doesn't make sense.

Obsidian samurai set 6 pieces with a yasakani will last you into the depths itself.

Use luckydrop armor tempered on trinkets.

It literally gives u some of the highest damage available if ur 150-200 stamina.
Along with todo.
Remodel.stam maxed.. A+ star stam. And its scaling. If i jave the other stayd boosted u can do the double remodel. For two a- and get a busload of damage...

Atlas bear and pig are great
