why is kasha so infuriating to fight against
its literally like fighting against the wheel monk on crack, almost no openings and incredibly fast then she calls in adds too, im getting beyond tired of this level of enemy cheese against the player lol

Steel, barrier, fire resistance talismans are good options, hit the side of her wheels to deactivate her fire. Rejuvenation talismans if you don't have any self healing, use water weapons or oni-b water yokai to imbue your weapon with water and then go to town. Poke her without running out of Ki if you can.

well i did it 4th try, i stopped caring about taking hits and just kept spamming attacks on her, was getting annoyed and just decided to play recklessly and it worked, that was annoying af though lol

Yeah, it can feel that way with that boss. I'm doing it co-op with a friend and we both just happened to use water, so we just chumped her instantly and didn't really get to experience what she can really do, but we did find out that going ham works really well if you have the Ki.

Kasha only has 1 way to attack a person behind her (her wheel spin kick attack), so if you can consistently get behind her via weapon skills, you can get in attacks relatively safely. I was using fists, so this might not be applicable to everyone, but my strategy was to use Opportunist to perfect block her chain swipes and then do a Reckless Charge that would go through her and get me to her back.

Haha, that's like the only two abilities I haven't gotten on fists yet. I'll be sure to try them soon.

I don't even know how i killed her, just buffed up, stayed underneath her and spammed attack.
With all the crazy fires and lights i couldn't even see anything.
I was lucky i had high defense to facetank most of it i guess, i'd hate to fight her on a low armor build.

She's frustrating because no matter how long you wait, no matter how many times she pivots and swings her arms, no matter how many times you smash her with your hardest attack, no matter how tantalisingly close to the edge it seems to be, her two best friends will never fall out of their containment zone...

...frustrating. I'm thinking of giving the game a negative review :hammering:

That's pretty much how it went for me. I used barrier talismans and a bunch of health on amrita absorption. The latter turns her wheels into health stations.

same, just without any barrier stuff or buffs. Switched between mid and low stance of the switchglaive for non stop combos. Anytime she did the fire barrier around me, I somehow managed to always be outside of it

I use fists as my main weapon and i had the time of my life fighting kasha: You can easily slide under her legs with a low stance sprint attack. If you're having trouble with her wheel shoot it with an arrow and it will disappear.

I use switchglaive and found the "between the legs" thing when I was using cyclone. Made her very vulnerable up close. She's a boss you don't really want to give the space to do her thing.

Also, she's got one of the best damn soul core abilities of all, so well worth the effort.

For me, a normal katana worked quite well. Just ensure to use a weapon that can hit her weakpoints (the crystals on the wheels). Double swords are kinda bad for this one I feel like.

Another tip for anyone having trouble dealing with the spinner Kasha can spawn occassionally:
The spinner only has 1 HP, and caltrops deal 1 point of damage. As a result, you can simply throw caltrops and let the spinner touch one, dealing 1 point of damage and thus killing the spinner. Given that caltrops are actually really cheap to afford as a Jutsu, you can easily have 6 caltrops with you, which is more than enough for the whole fight.
