Underworld Etiqutte for multiplayer?

Most people who join underworld in multiplayer are trying to get max level items and Lapis Lazuili.

To explain this better, maxing out higher level drop rate gives you a maximum item consistently for boss kills.

An example of this would be my common drops ranging from level 75+ to 80+ drops. With the Higher item level drop rate maxed. I can get a few items that are 110+. Soul forge an item that is 75+ with a 80+ and the item will jump in + level dramatically.

Getting back to the point. It is ok for people joining the underworld to dictate to go directly to the boss immediately?

I mean the big picture is to get the level done right?

no,

if the only reason to play something is to finish playing it, then the question comes up why you are even playing it in the first place. Why not work instead or sleep or do some healthy hobby?

Generally,I would say yeah.If a visitor tries to force host into the Crucible it's fine as long as visitor is strong enough to beat the ass of the boss,otherwise if you fail host is left without any buffs on a boss he has zero idea how to fight against.
I can't say for sure if it's a problem since I didnt summon visitors in underworld much,but judging from the fact visitors are in big demand out there I imagine you won't get visitors 24/7 if you try to summon there.

I don't think it's OK.
It's a co-op, isn't it? If the visitor wants to dictate what to do, he should go play his own game and not offer to help. When I want to explore, I just ignore him and continue looking for the kodama. If the visitor doesn't want to join, I find somebody else.
There's also that visitor that runs through the map killing everything like a machine gun, and all you can do is follow the track and collect the items. Well, sacred salt solves the problem.

To OP:In case this post blows up,just remember that entitled hosts are a vocal minority,and you're free to do whatever you want unless you're severely hurting summoner's experience-you're not a personal assistant,you're a visitor:this is not one-way street for the host.I m pretty sure summoners wont really mind not fully completing the same level more than 5 times

I'd expect to be summoned for bosses. People are either dead (no spirit sign next to their name) or people just routinely summon. Or I have people literally waiting by the boss shrine with death signals or just needing assistance (some bosses are pure bs).

Most the time I just leave if they expect me to clear the entire map and garbage for them.

Not sure how it is when it comes to Depths/Underworld but ive had a couple lobbies where the invoker decides to spend literally 30 minutes wandering around picking up every single item and wasting my life. If you want to 100% the game, don't summon help.

On topic though, i think the invoker gets to decide whether they want to go to the boss or not. If you're helping, then help with their decision.

maybe their equipment is still garbage, in that case itd be more helpful for them to clear the red/purple enemies as well than to kill the boss because without proper equipment theyd just run into the same issue again on the next floor. As seen on some other thread, some people have issues dealing with red/purple itsumades for example while some other builds and potential visitor toast them for breakfeast.

Best gear to get ready and gear up will be scrolls. Even so, you would want to go for the boss for the main loot and repeat.

To be fair I have seen hosts clear through things as if they are geared themselves.

There are many people in underworld who are giving me wise scrolls as a random reward after missions complete.
