Damage scaling of Fists

Something really doesn't feel right in regards to the scaling of Fists. 200 strength + remodelling and as much melee damage as i can stack and i still do more damage with a spear when i have 25 con.

Confused.

Get some second stat you lvled up high via tempering. I use attack bonus (magic) since it's my second highest stat besides str.

oh i've got that with Dex, but the damage just doesnt seem to be getting there

What stance are you using?

The Spear might do higher damage because it does less hits where as fists can do quite a lot of hits.

Fists don't do a lot of damage per hit. Also most of the damage bonuses in this game only effect the base damage. So in general +10% of nothing is still nothing. So unless you're using an active skill with fists such as limitless you won't see big damage numbers. But they do good damage over time.. Beyond Infinity is the highest damaging ability in the game.
