Nioh 2 Slow-Motion bug

Hey everyone. I played Nioh 1 to the Way of the Nioh difficulty and was delighted with the experience and to my luck, Nioh 2 was just around the corner so my hype just sky rocketed. But my first experiences with the game feels really sluggish. Maybe it is because of the fact that on Nioh 1 I got used to being +700 levels which could have effected my ability to move incredibly agile, but Nioh 2 feels SUPER sluggish. I'm currently running A agility and it feels like I'm moving on D agility rating with heaviest gear you can find.
The problem does not end with just my ability to move, the enemies also feel incredibly slow. This throws off my ability to counter their attacks because they literally show the ki-counter indicator, then pause for an easy 1-1.5 second before actually attacking, I fell in love with Nioh 1 because of the fast ninja Gaiden style movement and attacks, combined with souls like gameplay.

So my question is, Is the AI this sluggish because this is the easiest difficulty, and I just got used to Way of the Nioh on Nioh 1, or Is Nioh 2 just slow ?

Edit 1: I think I have identified the problem. It is as most of you suggested, an FPS issue. I was getting from 90-120 FPS in various places with Frame Rate Cap to 120. The problem completely disappeared when I reduced the Frame Rate Cap to 60, but it was also working fine for some time after experimenting it back to 120. Although it did not take long before the problem surfaced again. So my guess is, since I don't get constant 120 FPS, the fluctuations are causing the game to slow down, maybe as a means to avoid FPS shutters or god knows what reason. I have not heard this bug anywhere else so it might be completely unrelated. But 60 FPS cap seems to be working for now, but I would really appreciate an actual fix on this matter, since I would still much prefer stable 90 FPS to 60.

Might want to check your frame rate. Game is having some major FPS issues and some people well above recommended specs are only getting around 15fps which would make everything feel like its in slow motion.

feels same for me, i do played toughness 200+ with axe mainly just like in nioh 1 .dont forget lot of enemies were speed buffed on higher dificulities in nioh 1. also some yokais bring new moves in nioh 1 on higher dificulities

[ps dont use souls like term . its cancerous and doesnt make sanse
original ninja gaiden was harder then dark souls

if anithing this game is more closer to onimusha 4 - lootfest but harder]

I'm getting around 80+ FPS constantly, and I feel it is an overall gameplay issue. I'll record a gameplay video of this and link it here so you guys can see what is going on. Its as if everything is playing at %40-%50 speed, me and enemies alike. This completely throws off all the action off the game.

maybe try lock game at 60 fps

I don't notice any major difference coming from nioh 1 on ps4 to nioh 2 on pc. I seem to get more i-frames, which is awesome, but the speed itself seems about the same.

yeah i notice more iframes on evasion moves from scratch

Check this video out guys, I uploaded an almost 2 minutes of gameplay, with Dark real and without, In Dark realm it's SUPER SLOW MOTION, without, feels like IT IS Dark realm. This makes the game incredibly easy, as if I just threw the biggest Sloth Talisman in the world and now everyone is stuck in purgatory :D

did u avoid vids of nioh 2? because it only took me 2 second to see your game is slow

That's not "80+ FPS constantly". That's more like 8 FPS constantly. :(

The framerate is normal but the gameplay definitely goes to a crawl for some reason.

I dunno man. Looks like your computer meets the minimum specs. You got any other monitors or tv's you could try hooking up to? I'm just spitballing here. hope you figure it out.
