"According to Yasuda, cross-platform multiplayer will be available only to owners of the game on PS4 and PS5, while console users will not be able to play with buyers of the PC version."
Anyway does it even count as calling it crossplay between PS4 and PS5 if they both still use the PSN? That just sound like some crappy marketing line.
Thankfully, Nioh 2 is overwhelmingly built around single player. Benevolent Graves and Bloody Graves don't require active participation in co-op to properly function, so that much I am thankful for. That said...I admit the actual co-op dying an early death, or not really even getting off the ground is one concern if the game does not attract enough players. Although the co-op is something that can make the game more fun if you like to help people out, it isn't needed for accessing any of the game itself's content. Thankfully.
