Kasha is OP!

Not the boss, but her yokai ability.

Damn that thing is insta scorch for EZ confusion status. I can’t imagine not having this soul core attuned to any of my builds.

Thoughts?

It has a slow activation which reduces its usefulness in certain battles, although it is very powerful, and is especially good at dealing with clusters of enemies —and not so good with corners and ledges.
I used it a lot in my first few playthroughs, but by the final difficulty I preferred the skills which activate quickly, do their effect, and allow me to move around and attack immediately after —to the point where I no longer use Kasha at all despite it being the only core I used for a good while.

Which ones do you like now?

Its pretty broken yes, also applies burn and heals like no tomorrow. I like combining it with another broken one: Ippon datara. Slow consistent dps and fast grab denier/stunner, they have crazy synergy.

[Dweller Beyond the Threshold]

Ryoman Sakura too, plus it's faster and has 2 elements, water and fire. If the boss is resistant to fire, he can get saturated instead.

Nue or Yomi would be the equivalent of those 2 for lightning.

Im gonna say crayons wrong about slow activation. They must be using it at a distance i use it right up in the enemies face or crowds of enemies i gathered. If you level this soul vor3e up u pretty much get ur health back on just the whip attack first depending on enemy/ targets.

On huge enemies this is golden especially if you have nullify damage.

Lvl 10 20 and 30 khasha is still one of the best soul cores because i can use it at combo end im outta ki. If u use feathers u can animation cancel get the whip hit and pretty much confuse on demand. And proceed to smashing faces.



I get all my life back from scratch on a boss with really big hands from just the whip hit. Its instant.

Its not good at ki damage though...

But heres the kicker.. It makes all your other soul cores lifesteal like crazy!

Some gaurdian spirits can imbue soul cores

Poison It ticks for 999 for me. Early gamez thats ultra powerful. Still kills humans. Scorch n poison

You can do anything gs wise that increases ur type of damage as a soul core stat. I have nothing special.

U can make a soul core other types by combining a mortal core. I dunno what khasa is but i have her as a brute..

I think the jaguar increases brute damage. U can have brute damage all on 3 soul cores. Etc doesnt matter that much. Matters more her level/mynset honuses is why.

Kasha is definitely top tier

I've also grown in love with Nurikabe and Kappa
Former is super cheap, gives you huge damage reduction while active, destroys ki/guard, staggers anything and is basically always available
Latter makes outnumbered fights a cakewalk by making your back invincible, for cheap too
Coincidently both go perfectly 22/22 with either Kasha or Daidara Bocchi on Kurama Tengu depending on if you want more offense/heal or toughness

its biggest strength is the life drain stat.

Since the enemy will always face you having that wheel attack his back will enable it do a whole lot of more damage, it will do even more if you cause the enemy to get a debuff from 2 different element. That's when you really see the damage it can do.

It kinda sucks against human bosses due to them blocking which send the wheel in to another direction.

No kidding. Kasha puts down the damage no doubt, but if the enemy can block she's almost useless because 1 block sends the wagon wheel top flying off and sometimes it refuses to come back, not to mention her attunement and yokai ability cost are quite high considering.

Yokai abilities that don't adequately stun enemies or come out quickly tend to be more trouble than they're worth for my playstyle. Maybe someone out there can use it better than I ^_^
