Hidden Skill drop rate

Obtaining hidden skills is unnecessarily grindy, i've cleared Suzune in the Flames 25 times with 130 luck and %33 item drop rate and i'm yet to get either of her hidden skills. It honestly ruins the game a bit grinding the same boss over and over just to get a skill that isn't even that good.

may I ask why you are grinding it if you don't think it's good?

I personally like that they're not a guaranteed drop. For me it is quite satisfying and thrilling to see a unique item drop ^^

I definitely recommend you increase your item drop rate and use Luckbringer talisman if you aren't already using it.

I personally have:

• 165 Luck (130-140 is also great)
  
• 65% Item Drop Rate (combined with Item Drop Rate Vs Humans)
  
• Luckbringer Talisman (I would say this is the biggest influence on getting unique drops)

And this isn't any specific farming gear, it's my Flying Kato set. I just love Item Drop Rate and put it on everything.

Keep in mind however that certain bosses do require more effort than others. For example it took around 75 kills on Saito Yoshitatsu to get all the skills. Azai Nagamasa as well. Other bosses however usually dropped their skills within the first 5-10 kills.

first of all use save scumming on the lowest difficulty, you dont need to finish the entire level over and over again,
just the boss fight. And if you are at stomping minamoto, change all your stuff to omnyo bombing, humans get hitstunned by omnyo magic hits, so they cant fight back, dodge properly or even reach you. You should need around 40 seconds per circle, so even if you need 100 tries, itll be over after around an hour.

Severing spin is the skill i'm trying to get, it's not great against high levels but looks cool and seems fun for low level random encounters

It is weird to me that the set bonus for both Minamoto sets imply boosting the damage of a skill that you have to farm, essentially making a stat slot useless if you're not really to lose your mind acquiring them.

Ive done this with and for ppl friends. I think i posted about it along time ago. I woulda hoped someone mentioned it.

We got multiple skills.in only a few runs.

Well i destroyed the game and dont play anymore. Hopefully if you need another skill u can try it.

Arc of chaos was fun.... i stopped counting after 100 but i did eventually get it

I get them on runs through underworld, depths, or scrolls.

You will get them sooner or later randomly. Most of the ultimate skills are not worth it IMO save for some split staff stuff or ninjutsu if you like throwing nukes.

That's the annoying thing about these drops, i got Arc of Chaos 1st time without even knowing that is was a hidden skill and i don't even use the switch glaive.
