Kurama sword dance drop ?

Hey guys, just wanted to make sure, the hidden skill does drop from Minamoto in Bond of the Blade right ? I fought him 90 times and getting frustrated by the drop chances.

LOL, finding that skill is why I switched to Dragon sword build.

I tried for hours for the True and Through hidden skill with no luck.

I do have Demon Fang and Izuma drop tho.

True, hope they will change that a bit in nioh 3 ?! Just make it that every fight increases the chances of getting the stuff :(. Well, guess i´ll try tomorrow too.

I got it in about 14 tries from that mission, it's totally dependent on RNG.
Make sure you're using that Itokuri spider spirit, Luckbringer talismans, and as many armor/accessory luck/item drop rate modifiers as possible if you aren't yet. If you want to go farther you could set up a whole Inari/Child of the Sun farm set if you're at Dream of the Demon but it's not necessary, the previous item drop stuff should be enough.

- Rearrange tea pots in your hut to “Luck” focus
- Hunter “Kodama Blessing”
- Kodama Head peace
- Kodama Soul core
- Roll item drop rate for armor pieces
- Luckbringer Talisman

Still RNG , but doing these will tighten the window .

Seems everyone dropped their skills for me there. It took me days nonstop to get all of hayabusas skills and i couldnt get umbral bullet

Better have them give the text as a mission reward in NG+, where it actually matters, and get rid of that stupid RNG altogether.

The setup I used for texts / skills farming:

- Woman mask (extra item drop rate vs humans) / Kodama bowl (better against yokai)
- Armor with luck bonuses (Suika, Ebisu, critical Swallowtail, Eccentric at worst) tempered for item drop rate
- Ninetails sub Itokuri (70 luck in yokai shift and 2.5 item drop rate)
- Cores with both "item drop rate yokai shift" and "luck yokai shift" as passives, one of them being a kodama
- Barbarian's hatchets (extra item drop rate) with "item drop rate yokai shift" matched from a soul core

It usually bleeds smithing texts from most bosses, but birdbrain Yoshitsune was super annoying, he took ages to drop anything (farmed him in the main mission to reset the whole thing from the latest shrine) and he eventually dropped the skill along with the text for his armor -_-

Yeah its kinda restarded, I dont even have a problem with smithing text fatrming because I remember myself that they are useless beyond dream of the demon :D
