how do you guys clean your weapons?

Well i sometimes feel like cleaning my tonfa after a day of killing yokai annoying.

I mean i wake up go out walk arround kill a few yokais here and there meet with some humans, they sometimes attack me but thats okay just some extra work, but in the evening when i go home my weapon looks kinda bad and its hard to clean with the water in the lake near my house, especially the dried blood .

Any suggestions?

I press R1 and O to sheath the weapon and my character flings the blood off whatever I'm using (some weapons don't have this animation)

I find the nearest sudama and drop the weapon. They look at me, take the weapon, then replace it with fruit sometimes. Sometimes I offer a weapon to the kodama and they give me this insane look, then stash it away at the shrine. When I return to Kyoto, no one can implicate me.

And then for the weapons with yokai blood, I just run into the river with them since I can't swim and trust that my guardian spirit will pull me to safety.

im eating some of the stuff i find in the forest near my house and some yokai meat
and my tea is a mix of the herbs i find in the forest and some i buy from the kodama shrine

I clean my swords with Yokai blood... so eventurally it just seemed like it wasn't worth the effort.

I wipe my weapons on the curtains of the bar wench I hooked up with last night.

I completely forgot about bathing. Especially in that golden statue room. That felt like a nice dream... except the statues watching me. Although to be fair, they did pay me with underworld lapis.

Its the candle holders which are watching 👀. Everyone forgets those cuz theyre right by the bath steps

Actually I think its pretty cool little detail that the character will occasionally perform chiburi after murdering bunch of hobos if you sheath his weapon when there's blood on it. Works with odachi, katana and any bladed weapon, not sure about other weapons.

Get the red dual sword from second DLC, i never noticed drop of blood on them.
But really, as far as I know, with anything except Axe you just manually sheathe your weapon while standing still and its clean.
