Camera angle broken
The camera angle keeps resetting to the lowest position (always looking up) and I have no idea why. It started in the character creation and followed to the start of the game. I tried turning all camera reset options off, but something is causing the camera to constantly pitch up.

No, I don't have a controller plugged in.

In the game menu, the mouse no longer changes camera angle and yet the camera will settle at the lowest position again. Tried changing controls to keyboard only and the same thing happens.

hi,

a) it could be that 1 of your keyboard keys is constantly pressed, whichever is the one that makes you look up. you could try rearranging your keyboard keys.

b) back in vista times i had an issue where my system would constantly press the "+" key. it didnt have anything to do with my keyboard but with windows . made it pretty annoying to use firefox.
i could solve the issue by changing the keyboard layout from german to english. Dont ask me why it worked but it did, despite the "+" key being the same in both layouts.
I found out by googling, so the monkey path but its the quickest sometimes.
i mention this because dependant on your control scheme, you might not have noticed that you have this issue yet.

c) what happens if you plug off your tastatur completely?

Thanks bercy,

The issue has been sort of resolved by plugging a controller in, but for the sake of anyone else trying to fix this without a controller... maybe this info will help you decide to refund the game before you waste 2 hours in the menus trying to fix it.

I literally pressed every key on the keyboard, trying to see if one was pitching the camera angle and none of them were. It was solely bound to mouse movement. I decided to change the keybind so that 8 and 5 on the numpad pitched the camera and it had the same effect as trying to use the mouse, which was constantly fighting against whatever was forcing the camera angle down.

I know it wasn't an input problem from mouse or keyboard because with the 8 and 5 bound to camera movement I tried changing the camera angle while the in-game menu was opened. Neither the mouse nor the keyboard can move your character or camera while the menu is open on pc, however... if you invert the camera controls in the menu, the camera would be forced in the opposite direction.

Unplugging my keyboard completely wouldn't solve it either. It was bizarre.
