Can I safely mod?

I saw some mods on the nexus that allowed me to get rid if a whole bunch of special effects and even the in my opinion bad looking Ki pulse. Do I run any risk of a ban, or save corruption if I install any mods?

Nioh is not VAC protected, so probably you won't be banned for that.
I don't know about save corruption.

Nah you can run it safely. I use that mod because it messes up encoders during high intensity fights. Have been using it for around 2 months now and I've played a lot of nioh 2 since installing it. 0 issues or signs of save corruption from load times or errors. No file size bloating. Its just a replacer really anyway and wouldnt cause that.

I'm using that mod I think, it's called "Reduced Combat Effects 1.1". I applied it some hours in on my save and so far I've not been banned or had a save corruption, for what it's worth.

Might get banned if you edit values and join others and oneshot everything for example, but I highly doubt it. One can hope though.

Been using mods since they came out with zero issues. Pretty sure some people use "programs" to edit items in game with no consequences as well.

I use some mods and always run CE fot a mod that allows use of more inputs, which means more active skills, and I used it to make level 1 weapons

I have 550 played with the Reduce Special Effects mod. No issues. And btw i reccomend it to everyone.
