Report a translation problem
This acts a bit as a prologue for the first Nioh.
In the first Nioh you're William, a sailor who sets out for Japan (for various reasons) and as you'd expect a complete stranger to Japan and it's culture.
In this one you start out in Japan (with your own created character) (which is not voiced unlike William in the first)
I think both are great games but Nioh 2 is just more of everything and clearly superior. I'd get this one first and if you liked it much you could always get the first one later.
Nioh 1 actually had story and reason and you played some dude that looks like he doesn't fit in at all.
I struggled with nioh 1 and also my screen wasn't supported
