Attack power pills

Just a short question. Do these pills from the ninja skill tree lvl with dex or skill or whatever or will they just give you a buff according to your attack power with the current weapon like 10 % or so.

I'm just asking because i put almost no skills in ninja because i use onmyo. But the ninja tree still got some good passiv skills or scrolls you can use. Like Catwalk. It works as effective with 30 or 5 skillpoints in dex. So i always had one ninjutsu on that i was using. The +1 elixir is also usefull.

So is it the same with the pills or is the buff bigger the more points you have in dex?

this buff is the same as attack damage boost on amrita gain. The more ninjutsu you have, the longer it will last. Easily replaceable skill/slot.

The Power Pill provides the Increased Attack Buff ranging from 10.0% to 25.0%, depending on your Ninjutsu Power.

Increasing Dexterity will increase your Ninjutsu Power, which consequently increases the Power Pill's buff power. At about 400 Ninjutsu Power, the buff is approximately 19.0%.

The duration is always 40 seconds. If you have the Enlightenment Mystic Art, it becomes 60 seconds.

With armor (temper and/or set bonus) plus clan choice and accessories you can get a decent amount, i think?

assumeing the effect is multiplicative with all other effects (not sure but this would be the best case) at 10% for 40 seconds you can deal 4 more seconds worth of damage, and then you also need to spend a second on consuming the pill so its not really worth it. its like trying to use the elemental talismans in the onmyo without onmyo your better off using the normal item versions

Yeah, as Xeno42 said, it's generally not worth using the Power Pill if you don't have a high Ninjutsu Power.

In my experience, the most worthwhile Increased Attack Buffs of Conflict Group #1 are:

1. Increased Attack (Winded Enemy) – 20.0% for 30 seconds, and automatically refreshes whenever you wind the enemy. This ratio of Bonus-to-duration is very high, and it results in the buff being active almost 100% of the time after the first winding. Unfortunately not available until Dream of the Wise.
   
   
2. Carnage Talisman – 40.0% for up to 60 seconds based on Onmyo Magic Power; 90 seconds with Amplification. Unfortunately, it causes you to take more damage. Available very early on.
   
   
3. Sharp Old Hag (Yamanba Soul Core) – A whopping 50.0% for 10 seconds, for a mere 6 Attunement and 4.0 Anima. This buff can be activated virtually on-demand because Soul Cores cancel any non-Yokai attack animation. Thus, you can use Sharp Old Hag when you expect to deal huge burst damage, such as right before a Grapple. Available very early on.

well i tried one attack. It went from 620 or so ro 710. Its not that much but better than nothing.

The quickslot is not needed for something else so i migh as well use it.

Or maybe go back to cat scrolls.
