Can't modders unlock the framerate?

It's Engine Related. I mean in theory they could but it wouldn't be proper, probably wouldn't work for every-one. We can just hope they fix up the PC version a little and include the changes that are coming to PS5.

We have no plans for a PC version of Nioh Remastered. Please buy the game on the PS5.

*a few months later*

Oh whoops, oh! I dropped my surprise that I was gonna use for Nioh Remastered for PC!

ps5 prices are crazy. 75-80€ for a demons souls remake, lol.
this is not going to help ps5 sales. the more i hear from ps5 the more ♥♥♥♥ it sounds. there is only 1080p and 4k, nothing between is supported lolz.

an insult to any pc user calling ps5 next gen.

The ps5 is not marketed to pc users, and I don't see how a pc user would be insulted by a console release. Also, Demon's Souls remake is a huge selling point and could make the difference in purchase decision by someone who is on the fence of getting an Xbox or PS5.

Prices will go up everywhere. Sony is testing the market and everyone will follow. Digital sales on Steam have also higher with new releases. I'm glad I don't have the time to play that much anymore, otherwise I would waste a lot of money on games I don't play anyway, lol.

Very worth it especially with sales and you have enough time to exhaust it before 2 is out.

Yes. Nioh 1 is, like, top 5 games I've played in the past decade. If you like Souls-borne games at all, play Nioh. It's the best Souls-borne outside of Darksouls, mainly because it only takes some of the mechanics, but does its own thing. It's like a cross between Dark Souls and Diablo, only with addictive and fun combat.

They don't specifically say Nioh 1 on PS5 is 120fps. They say the entire collection is 'up to 120fps'. I doubt the PS5 versions are any different than the PC versions running at 4K.

Well is Nioh 2 just better in every way? I don't think I would bother with Nioh even if it is on sale, just because I don't have a lot of free time right now. I'd rather wait for the "better" one.

Having played both of them, I find 2 to be superior in every way. The first one is great, don't get me wrong, but 2 implements a lot of QoL changes that makes it a smoother experience. If it's a question of having play time, then it makes sense to wait for 2. Nioh 2 acts as a prequel but you won't miss any story connections with 1 by skipping it.

Perfect.
