Tank weapon cycle - Would be great to have the ability to use a seperate key for Machine gun and an indicator what type of ammo you're using with HUD disabled. This forces me to keep turning HUD on and off to check what ammo type I am using.
Point capture on disabled HUD - would be good to have the option to see whenever you're capturing, losing or holding an objective.
Overall would be great to have and in depth HUD customisation ability.
Weapon zeroing disabled HUD - would be good to see a pop up of the zero in.
Thanks for taking this into consideration, and I dearly love your game.
Normandy DLC is not out on Switch yet; the patch got the game ready for when it is out. The Normandy release dates for Switch are currently:
-4th of September in Asia (Stalingrad also finally releasing in Japan I think)
-8th of September for Europe/Australia
-TBA Americas, but possibly the same as one of the above dates
As a small addition as genuine feedback for the Switch version: Several maps of the Normandy pack aren't fun, the Canadian landing stands out as the AA guns behind the buildings don't have walls blocking their fire from hitting the landing craft on the right side of the beach, resulting in an absolute slaughter which wasn't fun.
Point Du Hoc had a neat extra with the climbing animation but the right side of the cliff has the animation go on too long and the whole squad is wiped as you deploy, essentially, in the middle of the enemy defences. It also feels a little too big and empty which rapidly turns the whole fight into a slog if playing the Americans.
There's also a couple of odd annoyances like missions giving us vehicles but no resupply areas. This is notable for the battle of Caen where I'm delighted to get a Firefly but once I'm out of ammo there's nothing I can do with it.
There's also general points of actual frustration where tanks in particular just get stuck or struggle to go places. This isn't necessarily just uphill, I've had them get stuck on the edge of craters and stone walls. In fact I'd say the vehicle physics just aren't good.
Also the Marshlands fight was a slog and I really wish I could play with the Churchill longer. A lot of fights felt slog-y tbh.
Also spawning issues where if I play a tank then I get no reinforcements for some reason. I'm unsure why.
PS: I keep hearing that "achtung panzer " screaming in my ears ^^
