Please stop sending my colonists to upper floors!!!

Even though I specifically select the bottom floor in the top right of the UI, my drafted colonists most of the time want to go to upper floors.

The upper floor shouldn't even be clickable/targettable if I have a lower one selected.
That's the whole point of the feature.

This problem is exacerbated by the extremely slow stair and ladder climbing animations which cannot be cancelled, nor reversed.

An extremely frustrating experience.
