Priority management /micro-management
I thought that very few people enjoyed micro-managing, but I found out that this was not the case: many of us actually play this way.
It's not surprising after all: the game has all the qualities to make it a quite exceptional puzzle game where chaining the right actions by the right people can be a really fun puzzle to solve.
The only problem is the management of priorities because, no matter how you set it, you can't avoid that the survivors decide by themselves to stop their current task, to leave their harvest to go to the other end of the map or to do nothing by giving us a simple alert that we sometimes miss.
For the kind of player we are, a simple option would make life much easier: an automatic pause every time a survivor stops a task or changes it.
Of course, this would be an option because not everyone would appreciate such a mechanism.

Here goes... If a great person would simplify our life and avoid us to keep an eye on 4, 6, 8 survivors at the same time or worse to reload the game all the time, it would be great.

Lovers of micro-management, thank you for supporting this message!

My biggest annoyance is them leaving the harvest to rot on the ground, it can be very frustrating, it is about the only time I really micro manage my people, other than when I need something fixed right away.

It helps a lot if some of your survivors have the 'Deliver' task higher priority than anything else, so they will pick up things like that lying around the map in between other tasks.

Or sometimes I set them all to deliver for a few hours, then they all run around gathering things and put it where it belongs.

Sometimes that can be better, since when someone have deliver as highest priority, they can stop doing what they do and go collect a stack of grain that someone else is currently harvesting... :steamdeadpan:

I like micro-management, btw, but I've never reloaded or felt the need for automatic pause, I must admit. But an option for it would be good, I guess :lunar2019smilingpig:

Or I did some reloading, come to think of it, when I was 'scum-saving' to get more survivors on expeditions, but I got fed up with that a while ago.
