Powercells.

Need Crystals.
Don't get them by default, can only find them via explore.
Therefore cannot make powercells, can only get them via salvaging.

Please fix this horrendous oversight.

Cannot make weapons, mech cells or power the generator.. without powercells. The game is pointless.

i think the seeds you get at start are random

You can generate electricity in other ways, powercells are meant to be a bit scarce until you can freely do lots of exploring with hot air balloon, as they're used for the more powerful researches like you mentioned, Mechs.

The point is.. you cannot make powercells at all, ever. Without crystals. It doesn't make them scarce, it breaks the game itself, as you cannot replace equipment at all, unless you like using bows and crossbows?

All the basic/needed resources SHOULD be available with a bit of work. Started a new crash mission and have no way of getting cloth. CLOTH. Vegi-leather can substitute for leather but there are somethings that NEED both cloth and leather.
I'm hoping that when the durability on my pistols gets worn down and I disassemble them and get the powercells back that I 'discover' that I need crystals and get the ability to plant them.

Didn't give me the ability to plant crystals when i discovered i needed them.
Hmm new game and i get the ability to plant crystal also ability to build plank house which i also didn't get before.

havent been playing a real playthrough since they changed the batteries formular to crystals, but dont they become available once you research the battery crafting?
