Roads & Paths?
It would be great to have the possibility to add dirt paths and even proper (stone/concrete) roads to our settlements. Would give order to the buildings layout and help with movement speed of the settlers.

Weird they never thought of adding such a simple but ever present feature in games like these... I hope they consider it for a future free content release. :HappyMask:

This and Bridges for uneven terrain would be most appreciated.
I like to move my settlements after the survivors are basically established enough to build houses. But the move is always PAINFULLY slow.
Yeah. I mean... I don't think it would be such a nightmare to add roads & paths, but I'm no developer, so, who knows?

I really hope they think seriously about adding this: it has so many possible applications.
The new free content update that is coming is also adding Zones, I've read, so it will be possible to create real Outposts.

If that's the case, we'll need faster travel between tha main camp and the outposts. And what better and easier solution than paths & roads? :popular:

i love this idea. though to work properly path mapping would be the biggest concern.

What is that?

path mapping is the path a character takes to get from point a to point b, which is not always a straight line. they would have to set up path priority, essentially which is better: left or right.
