My pets are out of control and keep having babies. I would love it if you added a neutering action and or let them go to the wild action. Thank you. Loving the Pets though and all the new additions.

I haven't tried taming yet, but which animal is this, please? It sounds like a good species to use for breeding for meat, or...?

Having the problem with dogs. They breed too fast, and the morale hit when I have to cull them hurts. Plus, they are eating a lot of food.

Dogs have this issue .. i started off with 2 .. different breeds also .. and before i knew it i had like 10 .. and they all breed.. so pretty sure i got 30 soon
So i decided to kill them all except a male dog.. i am happy with only male or only female pets

LOL I just restarted my game and will never adopt more than one sex of dog again.

Can we get a smaller animal feeder? It burns a lot of resources if you only have a couple of animals.
Maybe someone can mod one! :D

I was just coming to post this very thing.

Here is my suggestion add-on:

Under the "Manage" menu, there is an option for "Tamed Animals". In that section there are the following toggle check-boxes: "Heal", "Train", "Pet", and "Slaughter". Add one for "Breeding" (both a male and a female would need to be toggled 'on', of course)... and then we can manage our tamed animals as suits our settlement.

Or maybe we just only allow so much of a certain resource for a feeder? Why does it have to be 300 of whatever? Why not limit it to 30?

Overall I think the pets are great. Would love to see more breeds of dogs (labrador retrievers please). But the dogs are definitely breeding too quickly. It'd be great to have some way to spay/neuter or set max number or release back into the wild or otherwise slow things down.

I also wish I could bury or cremate pets when they die. Absolutely not gonna butcher the dogs, so I end up just letting them lie there until they rot away. Aaand then the other dogs snack on them.

And also would love to be able to save them along with my survivors. Build a ship or use a rescue pod to send all the dogs to safety, something like that.
