Laara - super farmer. can do all
Ken - super scavenger, can do all
Quin - great researcher and builder. can do all.
In short, people that can do all and crafting in general is good to have.
Why Ken?
gets tons of scrap that you need for alloys, very good in combat, get happy while killing or witnessing it. Perfect person for expeditions and likes crafting.
Spot on. I recently swapped out Laara for Rita just for a change, but yes that is the dream team.
Yeah, if only he wasnt indifferent to construction he would make a good builder with his speed, but I guess Laara and Talas can fill that role instead. His bleed resist and health is really only useful until you get your defenses set up though.
Beg to differ. My games always end with everyone dying simply because I don't care about evacuating the survivors, everyone fights to death. With Simon around that just buys me several more last stands. His tankiness makes him excellent at blocking doors. In fact with the carbon armor and the pulse rifle he's the next best thing to a mech when it comes to stopping enemies. Even so it does not even matter, because this thread is about my favorite survivor and for the way I play, it's Simon hands down. I'm sure that if I were a farming type of player I'd probably like that cute redhead or that fat guy.
Ahh, a man of culture I see. LONG LIVE THE REDHEADS!
Her combat skills aren't too bad to start off with either.
She is like a female version of Ken with multiple strengths and no real weaknesses.
Of Course, she lacks the speed that Laara has, but between farming, cooking and expeditions there is no real reason for her to be walking across the map.
One question, i do like the concept of especially Nova and her not breaking down. So we know she wont break down and you can save time on relaxation time without having to worry about breakdowns... My question is this, how well does she work the rest of the group wont her extremely bad happiness cause her to take it out on others? yelling/blaming etc. she may not break down but for me it seems all the blaming/yelling etc. stops once i get happiness under control, so to fully abuse her i would keep her cranky sort of speak.
