Pain Reduction
So my colonist's eye is on the way out. He's in a lot of pain. I don't think I can fix him, but I want to do something about the pain so he's not suffering all the time. Do I have any options to make the pain less severe?

If you are playing the Crash Landing scenario you earn an achievement if you get him off the planet before he dies from that infected eye.

If you want to play with Connor in the group and keep him around for longer, perhaps try this version of Connor from the workshop.

Ah, we're a trading company, he's a founding member. Guess he's here to retire.

As for pain relief, this post gives some suggestions.

Perfect! Thank you. I have these as resources but haven't observed them, so I'll have to find some wild ones.
Note that the pain relief only makes him feel slightly better but it wont prevent the inevitable.

Bummer that he is one of the founders in your Trade Outpost playthrough. Good luck though.

He deserves slightly better. We'll take care of him. 👍

EDIT: Smokeleaf is the answer. Reduced the pain entirely. AFAIK glitter balm is just healing balm and doesn't medicate.

EDIT2: Migraines got worse so smokeleaf was no longer enough. I researched tea production, which combined with the smokeleaf reduced pain by -30. So he was only in "mild" pain of 20% at his worst. I couldn't find any other ways to reduce pain.

He died today. Didn't suffer, was very happy and well looked after.
