Any tips?
Is there are way to keep unwanted survivors from entering other survivors' bedrooms without having to build individual buildings? Its a little annoying watching survivors wake up and the first thing they want to do is go into the bedroom next door to disturb someone else's sleep. Any advice or tips regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

The other question/comment/rant I have is: Is everyone (including modded survivors) hardcoded to hate Ken? I find him to be a very useful survivor at the start of my playthroughs and in 250 hours and multiple playthroughs, everyone seems to hate him before the first year is over. I'm glad the game doesn't cause violence between survivors because everyone else in the colony would have murdered him in his sleep. I get he has a somewhat criminal backstory, but when he's crafting in the crafting room with others, it's only negative interactions from the others with him.

I do like the game, I keep coming back to it. I think those are my only two gripes with the game.

Either have your people use ear plugs that you can craft after researching tools. Or use this mod :

As for Ken, i had him married to Krista in one playthrough so it's not always bad.
Thanks for the glimmer of hope for Ken lol. I'll look into the mod as well. Will I have to restart my current playthrough after adding it? I really like the way this one is going (other than Ken being the social outcast).
I think you can use the mod in your current playthrough. Though i have not used the mod myself.
If it doesn't work then go use earplugs eventhough it would still look creepy.
Assign beds and chairs to the people you want in a certain room and don't put work stations or other interactables, such as the shroom lights, in peoples rooms.

Yeah I learned early on in my playthroughs not to add the general relaxation items into the private rooms. I attached a picture of my 2nd floor layout of the house. I made some earplugs for the survivors not like the debuff on the happiness is that critical given all the extra things I have to keep them happy. I even try to save their relaxing and eating for the morning so that as soon as they wake up, they're either running to relax or to eat something downstairs in the kitchen. Thank you both or the tips!
