Making Basic cloth?

Is there a way? I must have missed something.

You mean the fabric itself? Which is used for crafting clothes?

If that is what you mean, then yes there is a way to make it. If you are on a map with Gujo you can collect the feathers and make cloth from their feathers. Or if you get the Haycloth breakthrough tech and research it you can make cloth from Hay. Or if you are playing on the Saltu map and collect purple leaf, you can learn to make cloth from purpleleaf.

If you just mean basic cloth from cotton, then no. Because it comes right off the plant as ready-to-use cloth.

Yes, I have a feeling this is the one the OP might not have discovered yet. First time I played I don't think there were cloth blossoms on the map (or if so, far away), so I didn't know about them until I searched the forum myself and restarted on a different map, iirc.

Search for and observe 'Bright-leafed plant' for the clothblossoms.

I didn't know about the other ways of making cloth, btw, so thanks for those tips!

I did not found the flower on current map so isntead I researched berakthourgh nad makeing cloth form Hay.. Also it can be made from bitd feathers and possibly other sources too..

Thank you all. Yeah I am currently in winter time try to make some fats, but there are no resources on the entire map. I did plant clothblossoms but too late in the season. I haven't seen any Gojo yet.
