Advice Needed. Tutorial 4: Place Stairs Connecting Both Floors.

Hi All,

I'm struggling to complete the last few tasks in tutorial 4. In particular the task where I have to "Place Stairs Connecting Both Floors" has me baffled. I've tried googling/reddit/YouTube for a guidance but haven't had any luck.

Does anyone know what the tutorial is actually requiring of me in regards to my wooden room that is adjacent to the stone room?

I never played the tutorial but i scrolled through the screenshot section.

Same as Flid, not played the tutorial since day 1 and floors are new, I have found the stairs to be a bit buggy so it could be an bug.

In game, you select stairs from the buildings menu and providing you have 2 floors (ground and +1) if you locate the stairs correct it will auto align to the upper floor and cut a hole out of the upper floor for the stairs to go up.

Issues I have had is building the stairs next to a wall, very intermittent issue so maybe try and build them with at least space either side and one space at the top of the stairs before it hits a wall?

Can confirm but this tutorial is pretty silly. It should specify stairs inside....... I kept building them outside to get to the roof... lol but lesson learned
