Can't find Ulfen food anywhere
I've selected every bush on the planet and can't find any I haven't observed. Can they be tamed?

Can be that the bush is quite a bit away from your landing spot.
Draw a box on the map and in the list on the left check if it lists "Peculiar Bush"
Might need to draw several boxes to find it. When the list contains "Peculiar Bush" click, or double click it in the lst and it will move the camera to it.

Thanks, I think I drew boxes all over but I'll keep looking for something I haven't observed.
If you give me the Seed name i could have a look as well ?
You could also try this mod. But i reckon it won't work if there are no Peculiar bushes nearby.

Yeah just used my cursor to grab every square of the map - no peculiar bushes anywhere, I've observed all the plant life already. In scenarios where there is a missing resource the game should provide ways to get it - for instance via an expedition.

Seed: SHOT-FUEL (but there really isn't any)

Yeah those are Fruit Bushes. Already unlocked those. (Though I don't see that small pool of water on my map, there is a spaceship debris right there so maybe it cleared it when it crashed).
I have a mod in the list that adds a pond closeby. Forgot i had it active.

Fruit bushes are the Ulfen food. Twice a year they yeild the fruits. Check the screenhots in my first reply.
The fruits are used to tame Ulfen and to ferment wine.

Just to add, you have to observe the Ulfen as well to be able to use the fruits to tame them.
And not forget the taming research.

Ooooooh, it's a labelling bug. The hover says that the food hasn't been discovered yet but it HAD been discovered. I just didn't have any in stock. As soon as I went and picked some the tame option was active.

dont forget to build a nice fenced off area with the animal shelters, animal beds and the feeder to put the food for them in taming them was just the begining!

you will need to lead the Ulfen to the enclosure by clicking on the Ulfen in question then clicking lead then you set a destination then you select a survivor and right click on the animal in question and click lead

be sure to check the path of the Ulfen after setting a destination that it does not go though any hostile animals areas the last thing you want is the ulfen getting killed and/or the survivor leading them

I do not want to ruin your fun but you do not need all that when you have tamed omni/herbivores.

its to keep them safe from other species of animal that can attack them
on the dodgeland seed there are fights between wild animals and they can die

the bed and shelters give a happiness bonus to the Ulfen the enclosure is close to my base so the survivors can go pet them in safety

Yeah i understand the fence, but you do not need the shelters, beds and feeders for omni/herbivores. It makes it look nice no doubt about that though.
