Is the game perfect in its current state? No.
Are there ways in which it can still be improved? Yes, of course.
Does it mean we're all being negative about the game? Hell no.
Reviews on any platform are always a minefield. You have to sort the real from the bogus. I myself wrote a very short review of the game that gave no real details purely because no-one ever seems to read my reviews so I just wanted to up-vote the game and not expend too much effort writing an essay no-one will read. But if you see my review you can tell that I have a lot of hours in this game and that should indicate to you that its genuine.
If you see reviews where people have given a thumbs up after 2 hours and then never played again then, yeah, maybe ignore those ones.
TLDR: This game does still have issues and bugs which need to be ironed out, but that doesn't stop it from being immensely enjoyable in its current state and well worth the price, in my opinion.
No need to trash it.
And as for the validity of reviews, positive or negative, I don't see how Stranded is any more concerned than any other game.
